Workshop Facilitators:
The workshop is organised and run by Dr Ines Santos, Marian Tobin, Naomi Fisher.
Dr Ines Santos is a Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Europe accredited Consultant and a Trainer. Trained in EMDR in 1999, Ines worked with trauma and complex trauma in the NHS for 20 years and recently left to focus on EMDR supervision and training and has a small private practice. Ines has developed an interest in EMDR case formulation and has published an article and delivered training in this area.
Ines is the co-ordinator of the EMDR Sussex Regional Groups with the goal of creating a local community of EMDR therapists through the provision of CPD events.
Marian Tobin is an EMDR Europe-accredited consultant, training facilitator and clinical supervisor.
Marian has thirty years’ experience working in the field of adult mental health services in management and as clinical lead, predominately within the context of crisis and community mental health teams, where she has been instrumental in the development and delivery of specialist crisis, trauma and PTSD services. She has clinical expertise in the treatment of complex trauma with adult survivors of childhood sexual, emotional and physical abuse. She is also highly skilled in the treatment of trauma and PTSD using EMDR with refugees and asylum seekers who have experienced the atrocities of war, imprisonment, torture and abuse. Marian has a private practice in London & Dorset and is also contracted to provide EMDR therapy to traumatised service personnel of national & international public and voluntary organisations who have experienced and/or witnessed extreme human cruelty or tragedy in the course of their working lives.
Marian is a former trustee and board member of the EMDR Association UK; she remains a member of the EMDR accreditation committee and vice chair of an EMDR Europe Committee
Dr Naomi Fisher is a clinical psychologist and EMDR-Europe trainer. She has been using EMDR since 2005 and has worked across a range of services, including primary care, specialist trauma clinics and in private practice. She works mostly with autistic children and their families and is writing a book on adapting EMDR for neurodiversity.
